  I accidentally stumbled upon Harper's today while exploring the area (I'm from Oakville and didn't quite know where I was going). Despite being the off season and things being sparse, what selection they do have right now is really great and reasonably priced. Lots of beautiful, healthy succulents with some varieties that few others have at the moment, great tropicals, tiny ponytail palms that NO ONE ever has that small! Even good sized bonsais for a really good price! I scored some great looking plants off the 50% off rack that are perfectly healthy. I look forward to coming back in the spring when things are in full spring and see what it's really about!

  One of the largest garden centres I've ever visited. Tons of options for all your landscaping needs, including shrubs, trees, flowers, vegetables, ornamentals, pavers, firewood, etc. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Professional landscape design is also available if interested.

  The staff was so helpful here, they knew exactly what kind of plant I was getting and gave me great care tips. I know this sounds basic but many other garden centers I've visited have not been anywhere near as accommodating. Many if the succulents I've purchased from other places have been labeled as "Misc", but the staff at harpers knew exactly what I was getting. Invaluable and friendly staff, I can't recommend them enough.

  Lovely place. Had a good selection of cacti and succulents, given the season. Ladies at the cash were friendly and helpful. Will come back for sure!
