Wow. Dr. Thordarson is a real problem-solver! I had an infected root canal that became very painful while on a boating trip through The North Channel. Dr. T was on vacay in New York City. He called in a prescription to just about the only drug store on Manitoulin Island and I picked up the penicillin. To fix the problem, I tried to book an appointment at the endodontist who did the original root canal. He was booked solid for 3 weeks and my pain was getting worse (I was then off the antibiotics). Dr. T. got me in the very next day! And the doctor (Michael Hepworth) was incredible! He said I had brought him "a difficult tooth" and I was in The Chair over 2 hours! That evening, miraculously, no pain at all (except when I chewed). The next day I was eating crunchy granola! Three cheers for Doc Thordarson and Doc Hepworth! They really went the extra mile. By the way, take note that Dr. T has now moved his practice to Ancaster.

Dr. Thordarson is the best dentist you will ever find! He is an absolute perfectionist and does amazingly beautiful (and natural-looking) crowns, veneers and bridges. He is the only dentist I've ever known who can administer virtually pain-free needles. His warm and caring nature makes going to see him something I actually look forward to. It takes me over an hour's drive to get to his office, but I would never consider going anywhere else. Every staff member is top-notch, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Thordarson is indeed a treasure, with the ability to fix any dental problem whatsoever; his knowledge is stellar, his work is brilliant, and he is absolutely one of the nicest people I know.

Very thorough and caring. Plus it really is like being in an art gallery! Dr. Thordarson is immensely talented on many levels.

Dr. Steve is a great guy and a fantastic dentist. The office has some amazing art and even though I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist this place makes it a lot nicer.
