  I went there for trail running with a group, the trail is really clean, lots of free parking.
  I would definitely recommend for hiking, biking or running!

  Great trails for mtb riding here. Plus it is the finish line for the Paris to Ancaster race.

  For Hamilton it is much better then average with more washrooms, water fountains, etc. It is also the only community center in this area and has a fitness center and cycling facility attached to it.

  Really enjoyed this trail. Clean & Well marked trail. Wilderness trail not Rail Trail - though some areas are quite wide and gravelly like a rail trail. While most grade it as 'moderate' I would increase that to challenging: entry in is on an incline that is actually somewhat steep to exit by - and the back loop has a series of progressively steeper inclines with short flat 'recovery areas' in between (we went to the R to take the loop). The other side of the loop was more gentle 'S' curves 'snaking' back down the hill. As you get to the loop the trail feels more narrow and Woodsy then at the start where the wide gravelly areas are. (one section of the trail is actually a Road with a few houses along it, so defn keep to the right).

  I have seen baseballs hit over the protective fence and hit cars in the first row. This is an excellent park and I would rate the park higher if this didn't happen.
  
  I use the parking lots on Martin Road beside the park to access Dundas Valley Conservation Area. The parking lots are also popular with people using the park. When there are events the lot one fills up quicker than the second lot further down the road. The second lot provides the paved path to access the park. I recommend parking in the second lot. Just be sure to leave me a spot.
  There are washrooms in the middle of the park as well as in the community centre during operating hours.
