The Egg & I Restaurants

The service was pretty good and the portions were big enough for the Hulk but I must say, that the eggs benedict had none of that lemony bite to them! Also if you like potatoes as your side, you will get a lot!! Perhaps you might remind them about the benedict thing but all in all a pretty good place to eat.

Menu is oriented around egg centred dishes (obviously)
Went for the first time with my wife and kids.
The kids menu is pretty standard and price is fair.
There's lots to choose from: regular breakfast dishes, sandwiches, burgers, steak and seafood. All with an egg twist.
Prices are similar to Denny's I guess, with a more limited menu though.
Only complaint was the service. Not bad, just not up to par. No napkins at the table in a diner is odd, never got offered a refill for my coffee. But then again, there was only one waitress for about 10-15 tables.

Highly recommended. My favourite place for breakfast on holiday Mondays. Nicole always looks after us well. My fave breakfast: eggs & pea-meal bacon. They do their pea-meal really nicely; never dried out and always tasty. Great hot sauce for the eggs. Great washrooms, too.
