“Played the course just recently after not playing it for about 1 year. Always enjoyed the layout, but this time something was different. What seemed to be constant gun fire for the total length of the 5 hour round. I mean, constant gun fire. They must be a Gun Club in close proximity to the course. On top of this, we heard two freight trains come through blaring their horns. The noise distraction was not conducive to playing a relaxing round of golf. Conditions also have seemed to go a bit south. Most staff were friendly and did their best to make the day enjoyable, expect for this pesky marshal that seemed to crop up on every hole to see where my twosome was. We were more than keeping up pace, and just found it odd, that he would creep up and watch. Unfortunately, I won't be back ever. Its just not worth the drive (Caledonia) or the price point to make be a committed customer.”
