Im on the fence about whether I would rate a 3.5 or 4. I think all in all, especially because we had such a wonderful time, I'd go with 4 stars.
It's a little tough to find the parking lot and even when we did, the rusty old gate was closed, which was fine as we just parked outside but it's not exactly maintained... Which Im not actually complaining about as it's a bit more secluded. It's in an industrial area so I can't imagine it being very busy. No one was there when we went - it was nice.
It's a bird sanctuary as well so you'll see TONS of the cutest little feeders and birds - it's so lovely.
The trail can be quite adventurous with some rough terrain in some spots. We went for a bit of a hike looking for the cascade as we walked right past the "trail" which was near the very beginning! Just a couple minutes from the parking lot!
Haha, it's gorgeous though. Another short and fairly easy walk to the little falls and river.
The cascade is wonderful. Absolutely beautiful with tiny waterfalls pouring all over thin long rocks (.... Covered in slime though. Be careful, very slippery).
Great little spot but lots of ticks in that field in
the parking lot looks abandoned. Ive been there a few times in june 2018 and the gate was closed so i had to park in the driveway. Its a short hike from the parking lot to the actual falls itself. Beware of TICKS!!! last time i was there i got two on my leg. These things are everywhere in the Hamilton and surrounding area so dress appropriately! the falls itself is tiny but beautiful
Beautiful walk. Parking is alittle difficult to find and at times the gate is closed.
It's a kool waterfall, but there is no easy trail to follow to get there.
