On Friday, October 2, 2020 - I did a curbside pickup order, they were so helpful I just had to write a review. If things continue the way they are I will
definitely do another curbside pickup with this store. I have shopped there many times before Covid and they were very helpful but feel they went above and beyond for me with my pickup order. Thank you so much !
Yesterday we visited this store looking for replacement cafe lace drapery for our kitchen windows. They carry a large selection of patterns and we chose from them. We were served splendidly by Gurdish. She was very courteous, friendly and customer focused. We were very impressed with the way she served us, from the measuring and cutting right through to the cash out. She is definitely an asset to Fabricland and we look forward to having her serve us again in the future!
I've gone several times and I can't say I feel very welcomed. I'd say half the staff are very friendly, easy to talk to and very willing to help. While the other half seem to talk down to you unless you know exactly what you are talking about.
As a newbie to the sewing world, I don't know the proper terminology, so going to a store that sells products, you would like to think they would be willing to explain some things to you. Not always the case when I go.
I do get greeted by some, maybe 2 out of 8 staff. I think they should all have the common courtesy to just be nice to everyone that comes into their store.
It can be a little overwhelming with their fabrics as things are kind of just piled on top of each other in some areas.
I'm sure some of their attitudes aren't intentional. This pandemic has made many people go crazy. But it's also brought the creative juices flowing in some. I had no idea I could sew until I had to make myself some masks.
So to the staff, thank you for your hard work, but please don't intimidate those who want to make their own stuff, who need your help to explain why certain fabrics are better than others and be friendly! It's not hard to be nice! That's all we (customers) want!
