My dog Dazy always loves it there. There was ice there today. February 10
Good park good people good dogs. Don't bring your small children in. They get attacked it's your own fault
I come to this park at least once per day with my dog. About 50% of the time we have a great experience, lots of playful dogs that are friendly, knowledgeable owners, and everyone gets along. The problem is that the other 50% of the time you get people who don't know anything about dogs, or bring dogs that are aggressive. My dog was recently bit by a Malamute/husky named Loki, but the owner seems to think it wasn't serious. This is a common occurrence here.
If you plan on coming, come in the morning around 9 or 10, or in the evening around 5. That seems to be when you get the best people and dogs out.
Decent park, but air smells really bad around here. Park seemed clean. I kept my dog leashed at first as she's had bad experiences at other dog parks with aggressive dogs. We managed to find a quiet area for her to sniff and walk around. The other dogs were very well behaved when she went off leash and she seemed to have a nice time.
Decent park. Leftover toys everywhere, which my buddy was cool with. Looks like it's a well used space. Would suggest that the City replace the pea gravel with something larger or something solid (i.e. concrete, asphalt) as this gets in the dog's feet and can irritate.
