Great bunch. Professional and people oriented.
They are a fabulous service for anyone who needing transportation to medical services
The two individuals that assisted my father for a pickup in Scarborough get transported from Centenarary to home were incredibly patient and they showed the utmost compassion. Their job is definitely not easy but they never showed any signs of displeasure the entire time they were helping my family. The easy thing to do would have been to leave him at the door for us to bring him upstairs, but the gentleman suggested we take him straight to bed to ensure minimal discomfort for my father from being transferred from stretcher-to-chair-to-lift-to-chair. They carried him up a flight of stairs in a special chair, all the while making sure he was warm and felt safe and secure. Please let them know again we are very grateful for their work (210226-173)
COMPASSIONATE is the best word to describe the team! I scheduled the service and they showed up half an hour early waiting outside and didn't come in the house until 10 minutes before scheduled time. I asked them if I got confused with the time and they said that they just wanted to come by early to make sure the way from the door to the ambulance is cleared etc. We had few flights of stairs and it was impossible to bring my mom to the vehicle in a normal way. She was too weak and unconscious to sit up therefore they've decided to use a technique to carry my mom safely and comfortably. While we were in the vehicle, we chatted and the gentleman played songs in our language which I thought to myself, "oh my god, how thoughtful this gentleman is!" He made sure the row of lights where they're over my mom were turned off so my mom wouldn't be bothered. When we arrived at the hospice, only two visitors were allowed in because of the COVID situation. He tried so hard to convince the supervisor to let three of us in just to make sure my mom settled ok at her new place, we were allowed in because of his kindness. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness! My mom passed three days after she was at the hospice, we're very grateful to have their help during the most difficult time in our lives. I feel bad for not catching their names, the super kind man is 50 but he looked 30! The other gentleman is young looking and I believe he is very young! Thank you so much!
