Hwa Won Yue Hapkido

This place is awesome!!! I am one of the kids in hapkido and I'm friends with everyone there because everyone is so nice! Hapkido is not just about the fighting! It's how to be just a better person too! Well I was writing this I'm going to my next belt! Im in the car with my parents! We love new people! You should really join! ????

I have been a student here for only four weeks now, and yet the experience has already changed my life in many positive ways. It's like a slow absorption process that you feel happening, but can't explain how exactly. It's intimidating to walk into a dojang. But not this one: this one is welcoming, the instructors inviting. Respect is everywhere. Patience is in the air. Kindness seems at back of everything. It is small and feels like a family. You learn people's names quickly. The ratio of black belts to students is stunning. And it is, simply put, an honour to be a student of Grand Master Cha's. My introductory lesson with him was illuminating, and I will never forget it.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Grand Master Cha takes enormous pride in his teaching ability and and absolutely deserves to. Every single instructor that I had the pleasure of being taught by was patient, friendly, and highly competent. The atmosphere is inviting and everyone is passionate about learning hapkido. I was welcomed as someone with no experience, and many students are welcomed with existing expertise in other martial arts.

My daughter has only been there a short time. She loves it!! Grand Master Cha is great with the kids as are the other instructors. He keeps place neat and tidy. Go ahead sit down open fridge have a water! Classes are very organized and no matter how many kids he interacts personally with them all. Now I understand when Grand Master said.... "I make the kids smarter!!!" highly recommend
