The curry is nicely spiced. The roti was very different than traditional rotis, but was good. The patties are really good and they have veggie options.

Have ordered take away a few times here and never disappointed. Authentic, family run establishment with evidence they’re proud of their restaurant. Deep rich island flavours permeate. Jerk sauce tangy and spicy with tender fall off bone chicken in the jerk chicken. Roots top notch. Important little outpost in an area that’s undergoing a renaissance in Hamilton and helps anchor the King and Barnesdale neighborhood along with Vintage Coffee and The Capitol Bar.

What a great local little place to eat. My food was cooked fresh to order and it was a great portion for the price. I ended up with leftovers for lunch! I recommend this place to my neighbours as it is nice to have some new food options around. Very friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious!

Love it here, convenient location for me . Staff is super friendly. Food prices vary depending on what your ordering. Portions are large and very satisfying. Secret ask for off menu items as well when visiting..... you'll be delighted and happy you did!
