I recently brought my Mazda to Stoney Creek Transmission because I was experiencing some transmission issues and required a second opinion. While another well-known shop was eager to charge me $600+ to remove my transmission in order to just diagnose the problem, Stoney Creek Transmission was different. Lee assured me that he would be exploring all possible options before considering a costly transmission replacement.

After a quick test drive, Lee immediately began suspecting that the issue may be with the TCM and not with the transmission itself. A couple of tests later and it was confirmed.

Lee was knowledgeable and thorough, managing to nip the problem right in the bud. He even offered me some advice on how I can improve the performance of my vehicle. Now my Mazda runs like a top and I have Lee and his staff to thank for that.

Had I have gone with the other shop, I would’ve been throwing a bunch of money at a transmission that wasn’t even the problem!

In an industry that sometimes gets a bad name, more guys like Lee are needed. He was honest and thoughtful, professional and accommodating through it all. I couldn’t have asked for anymore.

Wow dealership told me transfer case was gone with a 5000.00 repair estimate. Took it herr for second opinion and they told me it was just a wheel bearing and was less than 400.00 to repair. Car is back to its quiet self and driving like new. If you are on the fence just go in and experience the honest friendly service with very fair pricing . Great job!

I just wanted to share my experience with our Ford focus trans it had started to slip in and out of gear,it then failed and would not engage drive.I had Googled trans shops and StoneyCreek trans came up.I called them and to my surprise the Owner said he would be right there with his scanner,as I was close to his location. Upon arrival he scanned it and said the module would need to be replaced and programmed.The scan allowed me to drive it to his shop and the module was ordered and installed on the car in no time.What amazed me was he gave us his personal vehicle overnight while the module arrived,and when done he drove to my work and exchanged vehicles. I can't express how grateful we are that he went above and beyond the normal service offered by other shops.
