The Crunchy Canine

We are halfway through our Puppy Preschool session with our 14 week old Golden Retriever. Between the in-person classes, weekly homework, and the thorough/extensive training documents, we are very happy with our decision to join The Crunchy Canine classes. In-person classes are socially distant and the mask mandate is maintained - we feel safe and comfortable throughout. Our puppy loves the Puppy Socialization sessions too! Getting the chance to play with other puppies is so awesome and we have seen many improvements in our pup's awkwardness to other dogs. It was important to us when getting our "lockdown puppy" that they would be well-socialized and trained, ready for normal times in the future. I think we are well on our way to that well-trained dog we had always hoped for, a credit to The Crunchy Canine's training documents, guidance, and support. Consistency on your part is definitely key, so keep that in mind!

We started Tucker’s training at 9 weeks old with Katherine and Katie and immediately loved them both and the training we were learning. My favourite thing was the focus around having a calm dog who can live in a human world. With some work at home and Katherine and Katie’s guidance Tucker had become a fantastic all around dog. We have enjoyed all the training sessions we did with the Crunchy Canine as well as the online tricks training ! Tucker absolutely loves going to day camp with Katherine and Katie. We highly recommend the Crunchy Canine to any of our friends and family who get a pup !

Our family did in-home private training for Toby, our new 7-month old Mexi-mix rescue with Katie. We would definitely recommend The Crunchy Canine to anyone who wants a happy, well-behaved dog. Private training allowed for a real tailored experience that was exactly what we needed, addressing issues we experienced on a weekly basis. After only 5 one-hour sessions Toby has become a well-behaved, easily walk-able 50 lbs Mexi-mix.

We have also sent him to a few Day Camps, which he loves, and we love. It allows him to socialize with other dogs under the supervision of excellent dog trainers.
