You can find just about anything you need for just about every project you want to do. Also it has some very friendly staff, that can answer most questions. Their prices y competitive.
I chose to visit on one of the busiest days of the year. Yet upon entering store, there was no chaos. It was very busy. However the staff was managing everything impressively well. I spoke with Danielle in the garden dept. She was very helpful and seemed to have everything under control. One staff member was even helping with I'll call it crowd control. I usually never visit on Sunday or long weekends. I think that may be in the past now. Thanks Home Depot Hamilton Mountain!
Very good place to be for entire range of construction or renovation related projects.
But you have to be very very very lucky to find an associate to help you in professional advice regarding any product.
Most of the staff at most of the stores lack proper training in their department.
There are some gem of persons there as well.
Ample parking, often wide open on the 'contractor' side of the store. Great having that space for loading up lumber and whatnot.
This location, like most Home Depots, suffers from ghost staff. Never seems to be anyone around when you need them. A lot of floor to cover, I suppose. That being said, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Product-wise it's like most Home Depots. Most of everything is in stock somewhere in the store; searching the website helps narrow it down. It can take a while to find boards that are relatively straight (I do fine wood working for decor and furniture), but this is common to many lumber suppliers.
They have our go-to garden centre. Fair prices on plants, soil, and most garden needs.
