Connon Nurseries

We parked our car and within minutes we were greeted by Paul, a sales associate, who drove up to us in his golf cart and asked if we needed help, which we truly did. We had not been to Connon in over 20 years, and had no idea of how sprawling and potentially intimidating the place could be. Paul took all the worry out of our minds right away. He carefully listened to what we were trying to accomplish at our home, then very thoughtfully gave us his suggestions. He then had us jump on the golf cart and drove us around to the black cedars he was suggesting.

We had several other trees in mind to purchase, and Paul VERY patiently drove us around for well over an hour giving us incredible insight into our choices, and making the whole experience both pleasurable and productive. We couldn't have made 1/10th of the progress we made without him. I'm quite sure we would have left that day frustrated without anything accomplished had it not been for the remarkable help we were given.

The nursery is beautiful, the stock incredible, the store spacious and inviting, parking is extensive and Connon is easy to get to. We had to drive for 1 hour from our home in Niagara to visit the nursery, and it was worth the effort, and then some. We will be having Connon plant a dozen or so trees on our property in the coming weeks.

To paraphrase a well know clothing vendor, "It's worth the drive to Waterdown!"

I am a landscape contractor and for me dealing with Connon has been a great experience from the start! Awesome customer service and in my opinion by far one of the best nurseries in the gta. They have a massive selection of quality grown tree's and plants at good pricing. I would like to also give a shout out to your employee Paul . He has been my go to driver when selecting tree's and plants for my next big project. I Highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and just a down right good guy.

It has always been a pleasure to visit Connon Nurseries. The facility is always well organized and cared for. They have unusual and sometimes unique plant material that you don't find in other nurseries and garden centres. The staff has always been very friendly and informative whether in person or on the phone.

We are so lucky to have this nursery in the Trenton area. They have a lovely selection of well-kept perennials and annuals, lots of interesting shrubs and a forest of trees. Best of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Dee and Julie for all their advice this spring, to Dan and Lisa for the great Saturday morning talks and to the so-organized front desk for being speedy even on a crazy-busy weekend.

I visited here during the long weekend with my Fiance for the time and was blown away by size and atmosphere that they have created. We got a coffee at their cafe and then wandered around the garden center for about an hour just taking in the sheer beauty of what they have set up. Everything is very organized which is surprising for such a big place. We needed help only once to find a Zucchini (which is very popular it seems) and we found an associate who found it and put it on our cart right away. Everyone working there is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. Will be returning shortly to pick up some plants for my front yard.
