Cottage country fish & chips

I ordered plain white fish and chips and my wife ordered shrimp and chips. Batter was light and crispy and there was no greasy taste.
Order was quick to arrive and the taste was excellent.
Our server was pleasant and helpful. The eating area was uncluttered, clean and nicely decorated. Washroom was clean.
All Covid protocols were in place and followed.
We enjoyed an overall delightful lunch experience.

Passing through town stopped in for lunch. Ordered the white fish. Incredible. The lady serving me was friendly and shared her love of decoration. She keeps up 2 Christmas trees all year and seasonally decorates them - beautiful. Great place to stop for a bite to eat and friendly conversation.

They have multiple types of fish to choose from, I went with cod and was really happy! The batter is crispy and amazing, fish was cooked perfect, and fries were great! Would definitely go again!

Joanne, Dave and staff are amazing. Fish is always cooked perfectly, salad sizes are on point. Always a fresh brewed pot of coffee on and its a great cup. I love the service, the food , and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are huge. Stop here for the best fish in town.

We live in Stirling, but honestly, the fish and chips here is worth the drive. The fish is always perfectly cooked, batter is not too heavy or thick, and the home fries are always hot and crispy outside and fluffy in. Good coleslaw too, creamy and not too vinegary.

Great customer service as well. I've recently had to go gluten free and it can be a challenge. Cottage Country Fish & Chips not only specially pan fried my fish at my request, they made it one of the best fish dinners I've ever eaten! Thank you again! :)
