“Clean restaurant with friendly service. Prices were on par with chain restaurants. Seemed a bit pricey but the portions were filling to be fair. The burger I had tasted great! It was very busy when we visited and I thought the ordering/payment process was slightly disorganized. There seemed to be a confusion among patrons where they were to proceed for payment after ordering. It was as if two lines were created when in reality there was only one. We ate on the patio as a large group and it was nice to see Hoss himself come out and ask how our visit was and thank all of us. We are looking forward to the Friday night cruise nights starting up.”

“The staff are very nice. I enjoyed the vibe of this restaurant. The food was good but mild. The name would suggest some heat. This is my preference. Some other customers were obviously repeats so they know what to expect. This was my first visit. I asked for a jerk sauce with the half chicken. A small amount was given that I would have expected for a single serving. It was not spicy. The plantain chips were excellent and the rice was excellent. I drove almost a half hour to get the food home and it traveled very well and everything was steaming hot. There was tension occurring between the customers and other customers. There was tension between customers and the staff as well. Some customers are calling ahead and placing orders. Others are arriving and waiting for the orders. This is causing confusion. Waits can be twice as long as stated as well. This should be sorted out. This is an outdoor BBQ restaurant. Every customer wore masks. The two staff didn't. They were preparing the food and one was interacting in close proximity to customers. I don't pretend to know the regulations and rules in this regard. Rules change. With some fine tuning this restaurant could be amazing. Fingers crossed.”
