Great small provincial park. We were on site 27 which was right on the water and across from the comfort station...one of the cleanest washrooms I've ever seen at a park.
Lovely lake, clear water, good size sites and average privacy between sites, very peaceful camping trip.
Beautiful area, and lots of smol wildlife.
Found a frog, had a baby bird all close and personal wandering our campsite(spooked it so we wouldn't hurt it and to make sure it could fly), had a fox sneaking around, and lots of birds like loons and Bluejays
Heard wolves at night along with the loons and it was beautiful
First time visiting, but will not be the last. Probably the cleanest washrooms I've ever seen at a provincial park. We lucked out and got a water front site. The pics are from our site. There was a path to the water with a sandy beach. I felt like we had a cottage. Loved the morning mist on the calm water in the mornings.
Great lake, great scene early in the morning when no fast boat no jet ski running around. After 10am it becomes way too noisy. Too many water skis and fast boat travelling across the lake. We booked site 29, a small site with lots of gravel BUT uneven surface..it is still manageable, however it is way too close to the adjacent cottage. I thought we had a water view but it's blocked by trees... We have a small descent to the lake and access to the water. However due to the close proximity between our site and neighbors cottage, it feels like we invaded the neighbors back yard..
there was no fish in the vicinity of the park due to the high boat/jet ski traffic. Two trails to explore yet super short.
Two beaches to play I'll rank them not bad. 3/5
If possible, book the site facing north, or facing west, do not book the sites facing South and East.
A lovely park. It's not large, Which makes it a great park & very easy to manuevre. Very quiet & family oriented. We were on site 63, this particular site was lakeside and was a pretty level site. Plus straight across from the comfort station. The comfort station was immaculate. The staff was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
