TWEED DESI

This restaurant is quite a gem for a small town like Tweed Ontario. Come to think of it, this restaurant is a gym, no matter where it is located. I love Indian food, and I have tasted Indian food from many different restaurants. The meal we received here was easily as good or better than any I have tasted. I highly recommend Tweed Desi! Yum!

We have been eating at this restaurant since they opened. What a nice surprise to find when we came up for our summer vacation! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious. Much care is taken in the preparation and authenticity of all the food. The appetizers are especially fun to try. We try two new ones each time! Truly the best food and restaurant in Tweed!

Rice, fish and samosas are on point. Lots of meat in the butter chicken. Recall that it is all about the sauce!

UPDATE: We've ordered a few times since this original review, most recently on May 20th. They have never disappointed. Our guests loved it too and given some have spent some time working in the MENA region, they set the bar high. I highly recommend this local resto!!

I am so thrilled about this new local family run Indian joint, right in town. The menu is varied and offers a great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes - great butter chicken (especially if you like a sweet, tangy, creamy sauce), authentic garlic naan (with real fresh garlic, not the dried powder), perfectly cooked rice and great samosas. The portions are healthy and the price is good. Welcome Tweed Desi!
