Excellent spot for homegrown tree fruit and berry picking, onsite bakery and........BOOZE!! :) Really nice homemade liquors, wines and ciders.
I have never seen a farm so many different types of berries and jam! Some I hadn't even heard of before. They seem to have everything! Jams, jellies, salsas, pies, fresh fruit! The list goes on and on!
Pick your own is open, but you have to buy baskets from them. Lots of berries, but it's not clear where exactly you should pick (no signs or flags when I was there). Berries are very juicy and sweet. UPDATE: 2 weeks after opening, the strawberries are even sweeter and juicier. Picked Saskatoon berries also, which were plentiful, large and sweet.
An out of the way Berry farm located around other farms and surrounded by lots of trees. Fun for all and always plenty of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries to pick, or buy the berries already picked available in the shop. A wide variety of goodies like Maple Syrup, fresh backed pies, home grown vegetables, frozen yogurt and other souvenirs can also be purchased. In the dog days of summer, come early morning, as the heat won't be as bad.
Strawberry picking is happening now. June 30. Wonderful and tastey wines and hard cider.
