Three Gables Bed and Breakfast

This was our first time staying in a B & B, so we were not sure what to expect.

Christine is the wonderful hostess of this charming getaway. Set in a side street of town, the transition from today’s fast paced pressure filled world to a quiet world of Victorian charm starts as soon as you pull in the driveway and see the pink house set back from the street surrounded by beautiful green grass and mature trees. As you step out of the car, you can hear geese in the distance, reminding you that the natural world is close by. When you enter the home, the smell of fresh baking whets the appetite for a fantastic breakfast the next day. The main house is filled with that old world feeling, like stepping into the past, while the guest rooms combine with the modern efficiencies to provide the necessities we have been accustomed to (tv, internet, etc). The beds were so comfortable, and the linens had that fresh smell that you can only get from hanging the laundry out of doors. The room had sliding glass doors out onto a deck overlooking a luscious backyard garden. It was very peaceful. What a change from the sounds of a busy city,

Christine is a fabulous cook. She asked what time we would like breakfast before we settled in for the night. Over the two mornings we stayed there, we were treated to such tasty breakfast items as Eggs Benedict, French Toast Bake, Quiche, Fruit Plates, fresh baked muffins. The food was amazing.

It would have been nice to have lingered there a few more days.

Perfect place to stay and relax in Victorian house with very warm and welcoming hosted. You will enjoy breakfast that you usually don't have in your everyday routine.

Very nice and convenient location close to 'downtown' and horse track. Had a great sleep and great breakfast!

B&B in an old building run by a lovely old lady. Comfortable room, and she prepared a big breakfast for us.
