(July 16, 2020, 2:18 am)Unfortunately this monument was closed at the time I visited. Beautiful from the outside and can only imagine what the interior looks like.
Well maintained exterior grounds. Lots of parking and gives a true sense on were we can from as it's older than Canada as we know it.

Spent ages going through every room, I absolutely loved how they let you in the jail cells with the old beds and other knick-knacks. It’s very authentic feeling. Then once you’ve seen the jail, you have the added bonus of touring the Governors house! A really great experience here.

(August 9, 2019, 11:00 pm)Great experience. A very DIFFERENT kind of museum! Loved using the audio tour guide system. I liked that we could do it independantly and not worry about missing things.
It does get quite hot and stuff on the third floor, but I appreciated the desk attendant's advice to start up there and come down, because I wouldn't have wanted to go up instead of down. -

Really enjoyed the history. Its something everyone should know about. Opens up your eyes and mind.
