A beautiful outdoor venue.....had a great evening enjoying the comedy of Colin and Deb, and Elvira. Looking forward to attending again.
Kudos to all the organizers and volunteers.
Well done!
Travelled from Haliburton to attend a show here. The open-air environment made for a wonderful evening. There is truly nothing like this venue in the Kawartha region and I'd love to come back for another show in the near future. Very excited about the diverse line-up of performers scheduled for the coming weeks.
Lovely venue! Had a great evening here seeing Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It Anyway. Just wish they had someone to do first aid on my sides after, they were definitely split after laughing so hard!
We have been following the Grove Theatre’s progress for over a year now, and we were so excited to attend a performance on Saturday night of their opening weekend . The show was great but the real star of the night was the theatre itself. What a beautifully conceived and carefully created new theatre space for Fenelon Falls! Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing the Grove to our community. Looking forward to your next show!
The Idea of having something like the grove theatre in Fenelon seemed fairly out of reach for a small town like Fenelon Falls, especially during times such as the pandemic. However I was pleasantly surprised, when I went to see the opening show, to find that there was in fact a theatre, with a stage and chairs, concession stand, audio booth and paved pathways. During the show I realized that this was place you could host just about any show, any ceremony, be able to see professional artists, or simply see some local talented men and women; however I was disappointed to see that instead of a show for Local Artists, it was instead a show for local Female artists. I understand it probably sounded good, and that it may have been advertised as such because the artists performing all happened to be women, but it was a little discouraging to see, knowing that young local male artists are not even allowed to the chance to perform in the opening shows of an awesome new piece of history, because of their gender. Other than that, the Grove Theatre is a wicked cool new addition in Fenelon Falls
