Five star service for sure. Darryl was so easy to deal with and made the arrangements to pick up my father and transport him back home from Pearson, with very short notice and in these very challenging times, therefore reducing my stress of getting my dad back to his home in Canada. The driver Gord made his trip so much more enjoyable and ensured he made it home safely. My dad had happily used this company for close to 20 years when we have been unable to provide airport transport and has spoken very highly of the DG team and I now know why. Thank you so much for your great service over so many years!

We hired DG Transportation for our wedding in North Kawartha Lakes. I'm pretty formal when booking vendors and expected a contract of some sort but all communication was done over the phone and through email.

We agreed on a price for two shuttle vans and when confirming the schedule for pick up and drop off months later, it seemed the price increased. I was glad that I had the initial price in writing by email and brought this to their attention and they agreed to keep it at that. There was even one point where I asked if we can decrease the number of vans from two to just one and the person I spoke to said that the two drivers were already booked and the price would've remained the same so we decided to just stick to the two. A contract would've helped DG Transportation in this case to ensure customers adhere to initial agreements and perhaps set a deadline date for any changes however, that's completely just my opinion...

Deposit and payments were done by e-transfer as they do not accept credit cards and so I was a little skeptical but they did show up the day of(phew!).

We agreed on two 12 person vans however limos showed up (which I was fine with as long as the seating capacity remained the same and the price didn't change). I even thought it was a bit of an upgrade considering the occasion.

The first limo was on time picking up our guests from the hotel to the ceremony location however, the second limo was late. This worried many of our guests and created panic that they would not make our ceremony on time. There was no communication whatsoever to let us know that the second driver was late and the only way we were made aware were guests ringing up our phones in a panic. Guests thought they either missed the last shuttle or that they weren't showing up. Some of our guests that drove even offered to pick the remainder of the guests up in case the second limo was not ever going to show up. Fortunately, the schedule we created had a half hour buffer before the ceremony start time, the second limo arrived, and so all our guests managed to make it on time.

Some sort of communication from the drivers would have lessened the panic and I think this is something DG Transportation can work on hence, the 3 star review. It set a rocky start to our big day and had our guests worried and panicking.

The remainder of the shuttle service started back after dinner and we had no further issues with the pickup and drop off schedule and everyone got back to the hotels safely.

Overall, the service was decent (seeing from other reviews) and the price fits however, the organization and communication from DG Transportation could improve.

Airport service excellant. Always use their service when traveling or for picking up visitors at Pearson. Reliable and reasonable rates..
