(December 18, 2016, 2:54 am)I was just reminiscing of my days attending Camp Endobana as a Cub Scout when I was 9 for 2 weeks and again the following year, but a month that time. What fun! I started swimming in the kids roped area (always the buddy system ...stop and sound off) then graduated to the high (to me) diving board at the river swim area. I had to swim across the river and back to qualify ...there was a current to fight too! We had archery and field day races etc. I was the fastest kid on my second visit. We boys all slept in tents that were set up on platforms. Foul days we spent in the hall making craft gifts. My mother wore the wrist bobble I made her at camp and kept it up till the day she passed on. What a fun experience that camp was! One day (for an extra desert) I was sent to town to purchase some white lampblack for the camps needs. Haha, there is no such animal. I'm 70 yrs. old now. Thanks Camp Endobana
