(May 8, 2019, 6:04 pm)The Shell station that sits below the highway -- with the big old garage and old restaurant -- has been closed for over twenty years. It's the original location of The Gull's Nest Restaurant, which has moved downtown across from the Post Office and is now called Rosie's Dockside Restaurant Bar & Grill.
There is a brand-new Shell station with convenience store and Tim Hortons across the street. Be careful going in, and be sure to look before leaving the drive-thru: it exits onto an active cottage road.
