Custom Covers

Custom boat covers made me a cover for my dinghy that spends most of its year upside down. It fit fantastic and my boat is well protected throughout the winter.

I can't say enough about my experience here. It's a small operation working out of small shop and garage.

I needed a new top for my 16' bow rider. Good selection of colours. He recommended changing to a one piece cover which now gives complete protection.

Just around $1200.

Excellent for custom boat vinyl work (seats) and covers. Very thoughtful on the details to protect your boat. Customer-oriented business.

I had an issue with my boat cover where it had stretched and created a loose area that water would pool on top of the cover when it rained. This area had stretched so much that with a good rain, the water collected on top of the cover was so heavy, it was putting extreme pressure on the cover causing the issue to get worse each time and the water had to be pumped out to prevent it from ripping the material.

Heather at Fenelon Falls Marina suggested that I talk to Dale at Custom Covers in Fenelon Falls.

The problem I explained to Dale was that I was heading back to Toronto later that day and with a big thunder storm approaching, I was afraid that that amount of rain stated to fall might be too much for the cover to handle and my cover could rip.

Dale had a couple of his staff heading close to where my boat was and he dispatched his “ 911 Boat Cover Emergency “ staff to check on my situation.

They arrived about 15 minutes later, made some markings on my cover, took my cover back to the shop and called me an hour later telling me that my cover was fixed and I could pick it up right away.

I rushed up to his shop, picked up the cover and went directly to putting it on my boat.

The thunderstorm started about a half an hour after and the cover worked to perfection.

All the water was directed off the cover into the lake leaving my boat totally dry and protected.

I now feel I can safely leave my boat when I am away without any fear of damage from the rain.

I cannot believe how friendly and helpful Dale and his staff were in helping me out of my situation.

I also have to thank Heather at Fenelon Falls Marina for sending me up to see Dale.
