I waited a bit too long to get my wisdom teeth out so I was referred to Dr. Orpana as I would need to undergo sedation dentistry. All 4 wisdom teeth were grown in pretty well but Dr. Orpana did an expert job of removing them.

The staff is very friendly and professional and were able to promptly schedule me in for a followup when I was a bit concerned about swelling of my gums afterwords. Overall great experience!

I am a dentist in PTBO area and I am writing this review for 2 reasons.

    1) I want it to be known that this office under Dr. Orpana’s leadership is really helping all of us dentists and dental hygienist learn from what happened to them in dealing with the government inforcement of new and not totally clear expectations and standards regarding infection control protocols in Ontario.

This office is now the model of a compliant office and they have been gracious enough to allow us all to learn from their experience. Thank you Dr. Orpana for helping us out! That is why I gave 5 stars!

    2) I want people who go to the dentist to know that dental professionals are conscientious people. We are all scared a bit because of how much our livelihood depends on our reputation with the public and because I believe strongly that as dentists, we care very much about keeping patients safe.

We want rules that are clear and make sense and that do not increase costs to patients unless there is value. I am not saying the new rules are bad. Just that they make something that already worked hopefully even better and even safer and hopefully at a cost to dental care that is worth it for everyone. Please don’t confuse compliance with safety and understand that we care a lot about your safety even as we find ourselves confused by the logistics imposed by updated rules.
