I have recently had two cataract surgeries preformed by Dr. Lane at his wonderful eye clinic.

A special thank you to Dr. David Lane and the top-notch professional staff team at his Lasik Centre in Lindsay, Ontario. I was a recent patient for cataract surgery and am so pleased with my experience and outcome. Choosing Dr. Lane was easy. Not only had I heard from several people about their great experiences, he took considerable time with me to review the process and lens options. My first reaction was to choose the top of the line lens. He carefully and patiently explained why that lens might not be the optimal choice for me and helped me choose ones that would better meet my needs – and happened to be considerably less expensive. From the moment I walked into this state-of-the-art facility, I was made to feel like I was the only patient there. I was warmly welcomed by all and reassured at every step in the process, including by Dr. Lane. The surgery was quick and painless, and my vision was clear and sharp from the moment I opened my eyes. I have never been able to see this well – even with contacts or glasses. I just completed my follow up appointments and left the clinic with 20/20 vision, a requisition to remove the corrective lens restriction on my driver’s license and a genuine appreciation for having this advanced facility and skilled team right here in my own community.

I can't thank Dr Lane enough in helping with my husband's both eyes. He is soo happy he has 20 20 vision now. The staff there are amazing. They make you feel they are family to you. They are always pleasant and wear a beautiful smile anytime you go there. Thank God we have such a beautiful and professional place to go to. Love this place and would recommend this place to everyone. My husband always tells me what a nice doc.

I was referred to Dr. Lane by my optometrist for cataracts and had a consultation within two weeks. Dr. Lane and his staff fully and quickly answered every question I had and fully explained all of my options. At all times I felt I was being dealt with in my own best interest. We decided on the standard OHIP funded option and I was very pleasantly surprised to have all tests and measurements done and cataract surgery performed on both eyes within two months (one week between eyes). Follow-up by Dr. Lane and his staff was excellent and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr. Lane asked me if there was anything they could have done to make the process better and I honestly answered there was nothing they could have improved upon.

I recently underwent 2 cataract operations at Dr Lane's facility and was most impressed with the entire procedure, from the initial consultation stage to the actual operations and subsequent follow up appointments. Dr Lane has a gentle personality and makes one feel totally at ease and in good hands. His staff are extremely efficient and friendly. Would recommend this facility to anyone - a well oiled machine!
