(September 7, 2020, 5:04 am)Beautiful quiet location with great facilities and awesome staff. Alec (the lockmaster) is a friendly and helpful fellow, along with the rest of the staff. Great people to have a conversation with during your lockable or visit. Great camping areas adjacent to the locks.

(August 25, 2020, 2:46 pm)water is peaceful and warm. you may paddle or kayak downstream and spend some time in the reed waves... super nice views. there is washroom and you may refill water there as well.
