Was in town for a show at the Huron County Playhouse and found this little gem. Having spent some time in the Caribbean myself I must say I did not expect much but was wonderfully surprised. The flavors were spot on and reminded me of the delicious food I didnt even realize I missed. The owners are endearing, thanks for wowing us with your hospitality!!! Cant wait for the next show!

I'm truly disappointed in myself as a local today this was my first visit to Island spice. I went to the new 2nd location on Ontario street, the owner is a solid guy! My girlfriend had the jerk chicken and I had the ox tail. The flavours were perfect, the coleslaw was great and the portion sizes were just what we needed for two hungry people. I will be sure to tell my friend this is the spot to eat when you come to Grand Bend!

Was visiting Grand Bend and this place is a great alternative to all the other usual restaurants in the area. I had the ackee and saltfish.. as well as the oxtail.. both came with rice and coleslaw.. both were delicious.. portions were quite generous.. seating is rather limited to a few small tables.. so I see this place more as a takeout joint.. owners were quite friendly and seemed like lovely people..
