Victoria Playhouse Petrolia

This now a small village was during the boom of oil production one of the richest town in entire Canada. Playhouse is from the era where we attended live performances. Tower Bell that is located beside the Playhouse building and is damaged by the fall during the building fire.

We attended our first Starbright Concert in 2018 and loved it so much we encouraged 16 of our friends to join us this year. To a person, we all loved it. Everything from the talented cast, skilled musicians, light, sound, costumes and choice of music/humor - it was magical. Please let Mark Payne and the cast know how much we enjoyed their hard work - made to look like fun from our perspective. We are already looking forward to next year's show.

We just went to the Starbright Christmas show. It was one of the best shows I have seen. Unbelievable talent. If you like lively singing, humour and great performances this should be on your list. Hard to believe a small town theatre can put on this great of a show. Guest professional performers just top it off. A must do again.

Loved, loved, loved the playhouse. It is beautiful and so inviting. Great places to sit and enjoy a drink if you are early. Washroom is clean, & tidy. The theatre itself is lovely and has comfortable seats. The staff are pleasant, helpful and courteous. The play we saw "the new canadian curling club" was great, and we were still laughing all the way home. Had a wonderful time! Many thanks to all!
