I had Reliance come out to look at a potential repair on my A/C, as I already was renting my water heater through them (carried over rental when I purchased my home). They were very quick to come out and diagnose the problem, but did recommend a new unit, as my unit was from 1994. I then had a salesman come out and felt that they really were directing me into renting a new unit without giving me clear picture of the cost of purchasing a new unit. I agreed to having a new unit installed and two of the features I had been told I would receive, I did not (upgraded filtration and upgraded thermostat). I reached out to the salesperson, as I had been directed to do so when I signed my agreement, with my concerns, and did not receive a response. I had to contact various departments to try to find out answers. Since my unit has been installed, I have had to had them come out once to do a repair in less than a week, because the coolant had leaked due to improper installation. My unit was installed in August. It is now having issues maintaining temperature in my home once again and I will have to call out to have a technician come to home for the second time since installing. Although I was initially very impressed with the turnaround time for staff to come into my house, I have not been impressed with the products that have replaced my old ones and I am concerned I will continue to have issues with my new furnace and a/c. This experience makes me very hesitant to recommend to anyone else.
Today we had a consultation with James Kappke and it went really well! We got everything we were asking for at a reasonable price plus 3 months free as well!!
