Pleasant store and most of the staff are pleasant and professional. We do find that The fresh vegetable area is sometimes lacking in freshness and choice. I love the beer area and the chap in charge absolutely knows his beer. Great to talk to him and he is very receptive about searching out different beers.

Very helpful staff and smiles everywhere in the Store. I was happy to be assisted in the Pharmacy by their staff member. Lots of fresh produce and displays were excellent. The Bakery made delicious fresh bread and croissants. I enjoyed shopping at this Independent Grocer as the store was very clean, the staff were friendly and I liked the lay out of the entire store. For all the above reasons, I would shop at The Independent Grocer in Carleton Place again. Excellent Customer Care and Friendly and Precise Customer Services at all levels.

Store is clean usually have lots of products but prices are high, pointed out to the manager that two packs of toilet paper were cheaper than buying a the large one by almost $2 dollars, his response was we have no control of the prices they are made by head office, so you really have to pay attention to what they charge bigger is not always cheaper! Skillfully calculated to dupe people of a few dollars here and there! I am quick to figure that out in my head most people would need to use a calculator and that is something they count on.
