Zak's Diner Carleton Place

Absolutely fantastic! After a long day outside, my family and I went to get some take out. We thought they close at 9 but lucky for us they are now open until 11! We placed an takeout order with an amazing server (Stephanie). She had such a great energy and was accommodating with our food modifications. Food was fresh and hot, totally recommend!

Just came back from a fantastic meal/experience at Zak’s. Our server was Stephanie and she was on the ball! She was energetic, quick, polite, efficient and also hilarious! The food was awesome but it’s people like Stephanie that gets us back there. Keep up the great work!!

It was a mixed experience. The waitress was friendly. The restaurant was not busy at all, almost empty, but it still did take over 40 minutes to get our meals. The meals were good and lots on the plate, no complaints there. But, the most disappointing part was, there was no soap in the men's room soap dispensers and no paper towels either. These days that should never happen, especially when the restaurant was not busy. Would I go back? I might give them one more try.

Went for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict. I made it clear I preferred them runny so I could enjoy the poached eggs. They were hard, not even medium. Complete bust when they are demanding almost $19 now. Staff was great and tried to fix it, but I was on a time crunch so I can't fault the servers. The place was clean and friendly atmosphere. Ample free parking. It'll be a while before I try again though.
