I've had two amazing expeirences with Scottys so far. If you are a VW owner around the Lanark county region theres no reason to be taking your car anywhere else when you need repairs or service. They are honest, friendly, affordable, and most importantly extremely knowledgable! Solid service here

Honest, thorough and timely. My in-laws drive almost an hour to take their car to him. We have been going to him for years.

I was vacationing along the Rideau from the States when my VW Jetta TDI began to make noises. I initially took the car to Canadian Tire in Perth. Canadian Tire scanned the code and told me that the best place for me to take my VW was Scotty's. After receiving directions and a phone number I proceeded with taking the car to Scotty's.

I pulled into Scotty's and knew that this was the place I was looking for. Small, clean shop with only VW's parked outside and in the garage. I walked into the shop and met Ken, the owner. Ken watched me pull up and knew right away what was wrong with my car. After discussing the issues with the car I left the car there. I told Ken to let me know if what he was expecting was the issue, Ken called about 5-6 hours later with a full diagnosis and suggested I not drive it. I asked Ken if he could fix the car and Ken gave me one of the most honest answers from a small business owner. He suggested that I not have it fixed at his shop due to the price of parts being higher in Canada than in the States. After leaving the car at Kens' shop until I figured things out Ken was correct. It was cheaper for me to trailer the car back to the states and have it fixed at the local VW shop.

If I lived in Perth or had any issues Scotty's Auto would be the very first and only place I would consider taking my car too.
