(July 10, 2017, 11:25 am)The kids and I played pooh-sticks on a rainy day with the river rushing. Got rid of the indoor blues. It's loud because of the dam, there seems to be perma-construction on the other side of the river, and it's a bit scary with small kids, but it is a rushing river so I wouldn't have them out of arm's reach anyway. A little bit up the road is a playground and picnic area with a rocky beach for boat launching. Great little spot for the kids...we love that bit of the park and spend a lot of time there when we visit.
