Heirloom Cafe & Bistro

We were introduced to Heirloom Cafe & Bistro by two friends from Ottawa. What an amazing setting adjacent to the Mississippi Mills Waterfalls, and what amazing food. Following a delicious amuse-bouche we chose the salmon which was served with small Peruvian sweet peppers, and the House BBQ Glazed Beef Short-Rib with Red Cabbage Slaw. Amazingly I managed to squeeze in the wild blueberry creme brûlée! A truly memorable dining experience. Most strongly recommended.

Great service, fine delicious food, and very reasonable pricing.
It also has great views to the falls in the area.

We stopped in for lunch on our way to a weekday adventure. No reservations but we were still seated right away. Quick and friendly service and the food arrived at our table in no time. I enjoyed a generous portion of mac and cheese with kale and mushrooms. My partner had fish tacos. We finished off with a Mexican chocolate cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Decor in the restaurant is very nice.

Brought my inlaws here for dinner, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible and so tasty! The chefs culinary skills are of the highest quality, and food flavours and combinations were delicious! Servers were friendly and worked hard serving the restaurant. Loved the old mill environment and the drinks were cold! Heading back again tonight with my parents who are in town!

Love! Love! Love this restaurant! I have had the pleasure of having multiple meals at this restaurant over the past few months and I have never been disappointed. The food is not only delicious - the presentation and portion sizes are amazing. They also try new menus every so often and it’s a great idea to follow them on Facebook to see what is up and coming. Highly recommend!
