(August 25, 2020, 2:42 pm)We found Menzies House by accident while walking through the town of Almonte. We decided to check if there was an available room and Pat was really kind to find us one. The house is perfect in every aspect, beautiful decor and incredibly clean.
The bedroom and washroom were both perfect, with clean sheets and towels.
The breakfast was delicious - especially the freshly baked scones. Pat was considerate to accommodate my food intolerances and adapt the meal for me!
If you are ever around Almonte I can’t recommend a better place to stay!
(June 11, 2017, 8:41 pm)Very comfortable bed and room! Everything was spotless! All the rooms including the bathroom were tastefully decorated to suit this 1850 house. Pat and Frank are very gracious hosts.
Breakfast was wonderful!
