My 1 year old daughter and I attended the Baby Jams Class and it was FANTASTIC. Would highly recommend for babies and their caregivers. My daughter still sings all of the songs from the class, and I liked how movement was incorporated for both the baby and the adult. We had both Ambre and Rob as instructors and they were both excellent. Very patient and kind, and skilled musicians. I enjoy the incorporation of instruments and the introduction to rudimentary percussion. We will definitely be signing her up for the Toddler Jams Class next semester!

I attended both the Adult Fiddling For Fun and Baby Jams with our 7-month old (now 10-month old). The folks at Smiths Falls Music are welcoming, kind, and keen to share their passion for music with others. They are careful to provide a safe environment for classes during a pandemic - everything is clean, seats spaced out, and masks worn at all times.

Baby Jams was a fabulous way for our daughter to get a chance to see other babies for the first time (pandemic baby) while learning to move and groove to music! Both Ambre and Rob do a great job at meeting each baby where they are developmentally. It was a great way for us to learn new songs to sing at home too. We will definitely sign up again in the New Year.

Fiddling for Fun was a fantastic introduction to fiddle and easily accommodated a range of abilities. The class is a good mix if practicing basic skills while pushing you to really expand on what you’ve learned. Rosalyn curated a nice selection of introductory songs to learn a variety of fiddle genres. Can’t wait to sign up for the next semester of classes.

Smiths Falls Music is a wonder! The teachers are professional musicians with ample teaching experience, carefully catering their lessons and approach to each student's needs and interests. The group fiddle class for adults is a ton of fun and we are learning quickly under Rosalyn's tutelage. And the little shop and gallery at the Art's Hub on the way into lessons are worth a visit on their own!
