I had a ring redesigned and Chris did an amazing job. Highly recommend Chris and Carol. They are awesome!

My mother recently gave me her engagement ring, which by that time had been reset to include the diamond from her mother’s engagement ring as well. I had one of the diamonds removed and gave it to my sister. With the ring now holding the remaining diamond and two tiny diamonds, I went to Palko Jewellery Design to see if they could reset the diamond somehow in the existing gold ring so it would look good. Carol and I had served together on the executive of Brockville Women in Business years ago, and I knew her to be kind, fair and honest. She looked at the old ring, listened carefully to what I wanted, called Chris in to consult with us. They said they would try to do what they could with what they were given, aware that I wanted to keep the cost down. What happened next is what makes Carol and Chris so special. They talked it over after I left and decided they just couldn’t do the diamond justice using the old ring, so a day or two later Carol wrote and gently suggested two other possibilities I might like and could afford. Meanwhile, I’d been lying awake at night worrying how the ring would turn out if they tried to use the old ring. When Carol’s email and pictures arrived, I was elated. How wise of her to offer another option! I chose the one I liked best, having shown it to my mother by email. Today I picked up my beautiful, new sparkling ring, with its graceful, delicate lines. I was so happy I hugged both Chris and Carol. True customer service is a rarity these days. Carol and Chris offer a winning combination of sincere customer service and incomparable artistry. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a piece of jewelry they can treasure.

I had wanted a pair of silver hoop earrings for my mother several years ago. Carol found me a pair that my mom absolutely loved. Fast forward to this past Christmas, when I decided to get mom the gold version of the earrings. Carol quickly found exactly what I was looking for, ordered them in, and even told me they were on sale! Mom loves having the earrings in both gold and silver. Dealing with Carol and Chris is a real pleasure.

I had a challenging job for Palko jewelry. I had a piece that meant the world to a dear friend as it was a gift from her Father who had recently passed away. Chris knew that the piece was not strong enough to simply make another clip so the piece can dangle from a necklace. Instead he came up with a very creative idea of "framing" the piece. The result was perfect. Chris and Carol took the time to evaluate and consult with each other and myself to come up with a solution. I was touched by the fact that they understood the significant value and that they treated it the same as any valuable jewelry. Chris and Carol know value in jewelry and equally if not more so, in people. Thank you for this experience, your expertise, your kindness and genuine thoughtfulness.
