Bob's Fresh Cut Fries

The fries are smaller ???? but the poutine is still delish!

Amazing food stop, a must visit if passing by Merrickville. Pulled Pork poutine is by far one of their best menu items, alongside the fish and chips.

Onions rings and deep fried pickles were perfectly cooked, not too oily and don't fall apart/slide out on bite. Great batter and cook, pickles came with a delicious ranch style sauce.

Best part is, they have cold beer / refreshing ice cream to pair with a nice summer meal.

Whenever I stay by Merrickville I make sure to pass by here at least twice during my stay, staff is friendly and food quality is consistent, each visit has been nothing short of perfect. I get exactly what I expect and it makes for a fantastic cheat meal.

It's early February, and I'm currently sitting in the UK with my thoroughly British partner who's just asked me, very much out of the blue, if I think the chip truck in Merickville is open year round • Adding, that those were the best chips he's ever had, ever ever, and that he can't wait to visit, again! Spring can't come soon enough!

Update: April 7th & we've just made our first stop of the season • Pregnancy craving satisfied, and they were every bit as good as we'd remembered!!
