Nana B's Bakery

Loved staying at Nana B's. The cottage was perfect for myself and 2 dogs. Very comfortable. On Main street but at end so away from busier section. Dogs went for walks in fairground just 2 minutes away. And Yes the bakery itself is awesome, butter tarts and bread to die for.

Like heading for a coffee break at a cosy cottage with comfy outdoor seating!! Tasty award-winning butter tarts, baked goods and home-made lemonade and more!! Friendly service makes this bakery tops!!

Super friendly owner and daughter only superceded by the quality of the baked goods. Best butter tarts I have ever tasted and the twelve grain bread is fantastic. Wish we had found this hidden gem sooner. Kudos to you and your daughter.

We were in merrickville for a little trip and dropped in to the bakery just before closing and got a bag of peanut butter cookies. My daughter absconded with them, but not before her brother grabbed a couple for his flight to Wales. ???? Even academics need cookies. My wife and I had to manage with sharing a half. I gave only four stars because we only tried the cookies, if the rest of their repertoire is half a good it would certainly be a five. Well done.

Cute place to stop for a sweet treat. There's a nice little garden where you can sit and relax while you enjoy a cookie or tart. We grabbed a loaf of olive bread for the road which was a bit disappointing - very bland and tasteless. Can't recommend the bread but go for the sweets and ambiance.
