I went in for a very specific book but after talking to the owner, fell in love with more! I had such a lovely time talking to him and his stories were captivating and charming. I will definitely be going back in the future!

A great hidden gem in Kemptville! We stopped by after dining at Geronimo coffee shop and were surprised to find such an amazing store and passionate owner.

Very friendly and great with kids and offers multiple discounts on books and he is full of knowledge for a ex history major and veteran .

The owner was great and the selection is fantastic! He didn’t intrude, but he had loads of information and you can tell he loves books. Much of his selection are hard-to-find books, mixed in with some common books.

This is a real treat of an antiquarian bookstore. The owner, Merv, is very knowledgeable and pleasant--a true bibliophile. He has many good books on all manner of topics but is well stocked with fiction and history, especially military history. If you need something quick, just ask and he can place his finger on it, but half the fun is browsing to see what treasures you might find. Highly recommended. Open from Wednesdays to Sundays, after 12 noon. Recommend that you visit the cafe across the street, Geronimo Coffee House, while you are in the area.
