(March 9, 2018, 12:56 pm)Growing up as a small child between Crosby and Portland was quite an experience. My grandfather lived in Crosby and my uncle owned the General Store. The nearby Creek behind the graveyard caught my eye and I spent many many hours of my childhood trying to catch the giant Bass from underneath the bright green lily pads. Many of my family members are buried in the cemetery. My mother was the last to have her after funeral party at the Crosby Hall which was condemned about a week after she was buried. This Hall still stands today and will probably out live those who condemned it.
