I'm not a religious person but I am often asked by people new to town and tourists which church I would recommend. I always tell them if you're looking for a church and minister that puts the entire community first (not just those from their own congregation) and encourages its members to make a difference every day of the week then you will be very happy at The Westport Free Methodist Church and with Pastor Paul Millar.
This incredible church is not just a " church building " it is like home filled with a beautiful family and lead by an awsome pastor. Paul Millar thank you! The decision we made as a family to attend worship at the Free Methodist church in Westport was one of the best decisions ever!! Music is wonderful!!! Even my husband sings.
Amazing atmosphere! Lovely funny people. The services are nice, and the lessons make you think and bring you closer to God. Good fellowship! Oh and amazing coffee! This church and its people are more than a 5 star review!
My husband Jim and I moved to Westport nearly two years ago. We were not sure at first where we would worship as we both grew up in the Salvation Army. Paul and the Westport Free Methodist church have welcomed us and we feel like a part of this church family. We have brought family to the service with us and they have said how much they enjoyed it.
Through the truly “servant” leadership of Pastor Paul Millar, this church is truly a pillar of the Westport community. The light of this place and these people shines beyond the boundaries of this town and is inspiring. This is a welcoming place that motivates parishioners and the community at large to love their neighbor and live purposeful, impactful lives. If only I lived closer to fellowship with this group every week!
