This winery is located right off the main road when you get to Glenora. Sweet mother/ daughter duo running the winery. The wines surprised us as they were quite delicious for such a new winery! You can tell the care that was put into them. Unique flavours, worth a visit!
I have been looking everywhere for a good sweet wine, including in the Niagara region and have not found anything I like until now. Midsummer Night has become my absolute favourite wine. I would recommend a trip to the Longrid Estates. 💕
Stayed here over Canada Day weekend at their absolutely stunning AirBnb. They are a newer winery in the area, and we got to sample everything they have so far (reds coming soon, can't wait!)
I prefer a sweeter wine, so the Riesling, Fruit Feast and Midsummer Night were my favourites, but they also have dry whites that some of group thoroughly enjoyed as well. Lots of passion from this mother-daughter duo, and it shows in their work.
Beautiful waterfront view where you can enjoy your wine from their patio, Adirondack chairs, in the grass by the water, or while you walk between the grapes. Hope you enjoy this little gem in Prince Edward County, we'll certainly be going back.
New winery run by a mom-daughter team that needs to be checked out! A line-up of refreshing whites and rose wines for tasting (bonus - the tastings are free this summer!) Husband and I tried 3 of the offerings before choosing a glass each to enjoy while relaxing and overlooking the vineyard and water. Great view! Would recommend to anybody heading out the Loyalist Parkway to stop in and give these wines a try.
We visited a month after opening. They’re still in the process of perfecting their tasting room but the wines stood out. Enjoyed a tasting of four of their wines before I settled on the Longrid White with my fiancé getting a glass of the Riesling. Enjoying both glasses from the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard and lake was perfect. Wines are delicious especially considering it’s a two woman operation (seriously! Mom is the winemaker, daughter runs the tastings and both are the only ones tending to the vines!).
