Usually when a corporation takes over a small local business, things are changed but not usually for the better. Gerdau has done a exceptional job and not only improving the quality/experience of the yard for customers, but they also maintain that small, independent business feel. They treat you like a person not a number and as someone who has supported this yard for a long time, I am happy to continue doing so under the new management.
