Captain George's Fish & Chips amherstview

I've eaten here twice since they've opened, had the halibut both times and enjoyed the meals. The staff are friendly, prices are competitive and it's great having a little more variety in Amherstview.

They could be a lot friendly on the phone when ordering, it really makes you not want to order again!!!

We went during opening week and it was so busy! Staff were super friendly and welcoming despite being absolutely bombarded. I'm not a fan of fish, but we went because the hubby likes good fish and chips. I have to say, I tried the fish and it was really nice! I wouldn't complain if he wants to go again. :) I'm glad they have other non fish menu items for people like me. Hubs was quite pleased with his meal as well.

My family is so impressed with Amherstview’s new Captain George’s fish and chips restaurant.
We ate in last week and had take out today. The food was awesome (both times) and the staff were super friendly, We’ll definitely be seeing you around new neighbour’s.
oh... Could I be cheeky and ask for the tartar sauce recipe? ????
