(April 24, 2018, 12:16 pm)We took the 1.5 hour drive to view the selection of beautiful bowls created at this studio and it was well worth the trip! The bowls are crafted from a single piece of wood and some have live edges. There are round and irregular shapes available. The artist brings out the beauty and character in pieces of wood sourced for their unique qualities. They are functional works of art that are food safe. My purchase will be displayed and used with pride and is destined to become a family heirloom. The location is off the beaten path, but the countryside is beautiful and makes for an enjoyable drive. The proprietor lives on site and is informative and friendly; no pressure. I highly recommend this gallery.
